That could be a photo of the actual watch on my wrist right now - I bought it at watches.co.uk some while ago in as-new condition for about £500 off list price.

It's beautifully made, fits my normal sized wrists without looking like a dinner plate, has proper motorsport credentials, works just as well as a sports watch as it does a formal watch and I wouldn't swap it for the world. It's not all good news though ...

1. The scratch proof sapphire crystal CAN be cracked if you knock it on say, a washing machine glass door
2. If this happens the replacement cost is £695 ... no, really ... and takes 3 months
3. Tag repair dept. are the most diabolically slow and miserable people to deal with on the planet
4. The date sometimes sticks between a couple of numbers and if you send it to Tag to be looked at they will make 4 attempts, keep it for 9 months out of a year and still fail to fix it
5. They will however give you a free croc strap to say sorry

Even with all this I will never sell this watch. It's my favourite thing in the world.

PS: I had a great buying experience with watches.co.uk - ask for Tim.

I have a similar one- CS3113- which is the manual wind version of that..., and crystal is only £25 (+ fitting) should you crack it (plexiglass not sapphire)...plus no date window.
Next to CV2113 its slightly smaller- I have them side by side here as it happens...the auto one you like is a bit chunkier and heavier.

Also probably my favourite watch- saw it in the catalogue in 1998 (still a student at the time!) and promised I would buy it when I could..

I remember seeing this watch amongst others at a watch store around 4 yrs ago. It caught my eye thanks to its classic look. I particularly like the way the 3 dials are placed...reminds me of the Rolex Daytona. Does anyone have any wrist shots?..or any other pics

cheers

Here's mine. Not wearing it much at the moment but it is a lovely looking watch. Far more discreet that the Carrera Tacky (yes I spelt that wrongwink)

seconded ... they've got mine at the moment (not a Carrera). 3 month wait for a service. Watch still didn't go, so needs to be fixed ... that's right, straight to the back of the queue for another 3 month wait rolleyes

They had mine on 4 separate occasions to mend the sticking date - it STILL has exactly the same problem in went in with but I've lost the will to complain since it was on my wrist for only 3 months of the last year frown
