Vintage Rolex GMT - price/availability

I have a real itch for a GMT - pepsi dial with a NATO strap (obviously I'd want the bracelet as well ).

Most on TZ are from Hong Kong or the US and I dont really like the thought or international bank transfers and import tax so what is the availability and price of these like in the UK? Heuerboy has one for £2,800 which seems steep - I was hoping for something a bit cheaper (the wallet-friendly side of £2,500 ideally).

I would love a 1977 but anything from that era (pre 1980 I suppose) would be ok. Box and paper nice but not essential.

Any thoughts or sources?

Not really my cup of tea - I'm not a huge fan of bi-metal but most importantly I refuse to consider anything made after I was born as vintage Its my way of staying young!

I have a 1983 GMT Master that might be for sale. Superb condition, no box or papers but recently Rolex AD serviced (receipt available) proving authenticity, and with c.9 months warranty remaining. Its got the black bezel, but a change to Pepsi is a £25 trip to your local dealer away...
