Came across this little beauty whilst looking for a new watch- 3317-033
http://www.aatime.com/p/iwc/pilots-watch/black-cro...

Is this still a current model, as I cannot see it on the IWC website?

That's the IWC doppel chronograph. If you want to save over £1,000 on the same thing look here:- He's had it for sale a while now so probably open to offers.

The watch is still current and can be found on page 157 of their catalogue and the reference is 371802 (with leather strap). It is easily identifiable by the third stopwatch button at 10 o'clock. A beuatiful piece but for me the ordinary Spitfire chrono is as good unless you want the extra complication. Cheaper too. If you want to find it on the web site look under Pilots watches Spitfire and you'll find it.

I didn't spot this one:-

This with steel bracelet which is about £800 extra. Prefer the black face one though - easier to read.
