Is there any shop in the UK that I could view a Sinn 556 before buying?

It will be an engagement present from the (soon to be) mrs, and she wants to handle the watch before we buy it.

Also any good suggestions for an alternative. I like the very basic design, no clutter.

Cheers guys!

I belive this dude is the only dealer in the UK:

http://www.chronomaster.co.uk/sinn.htm

Might be some 2nd hand ones knocking around in small jewellers as well?

Chronomaster is the only AD for sinn in the UK,

ring neil at Chronomaster, i have read people have arranged to view watches in person if they are near to him.

However, i had never seen a Sinn 556 in person, just looked at pictures on the net and loved it,

so then bought a brandnew one from Chronomaster, who i can highly recommend.

As for the watch, it is stunning, i am very happy with it, and for the money there is no substitute, if its the watch you want, i suggest you go for it.

You will not regret it. I can link you to loads of theads and pictures on watch forums, that rate the 556 and other sinn's very highly.

Good Luck.

Got my 356 Flieger from Chronomaster having never seen one in the flesh, and was not disappointed! Lovely watches!

I have puchased an 856 from Neil at Chronomasters and am over the moon with it. It seemed like a risk for me too purchasing a watch without handling it first, but rest assured the photos do not do it justice - it is even better than thought, in the flesh.

One thing I thought with the 556 though is whether it would be a bit small - at 38.5mm - all personal preference though.

Hope you enjoy whichever watch you go for.

I read that too, so i was relieved when i got my 556, it is well proportioned and great size on the wrist,

True though its all down to preference.
