I purchased my Mrs a Dior Christal watch some 2 years ago.. She actually went for the larger 38mm mens chronograph, which cost around £1800. It is a very nice watch, with the respective diamonds/sapphires etc..

However, looking to dispose of it and no one is interested in taking it off me... The best offer I had was £400 to buy it from a trader... So, are fashion watches really that bad...? As I said this is a really nicely made timepiece, not one of those high production pieces, however I seem to struggle with the resale..

Any advice out there, should I take the offer? which seems very low indeed..

Are you that desperate for £400? If not, then keep it. ignore the loss (and yes, they can be that much of a loss!)

i would offer about £400 reluctantly for the watch, as they are just too hard to sell, tryed to sell an armani before christmas and it took ages, ended up breakig even on the watch, never again fashion brands are just a complete nightmare.
Plus at the moment no-one wants to buy everyone is just selling.
I was trying to sell my Breitling last week and ended up taking a rolex sub in partex for it yesterday, and had to give the guy £200, the market is dead.
