Anyone here have a Damasko watch?
I want a new watch and am quite taken with the DC66. It's very similar to my other shortlisted model, the Sinn 757.
They do look similar but that just makes the choice tougher!
In need of horological (or just logical) help.

DC66 a true grail .... Differs from the Sinn in that it has a continuous seconds hand subdial (at the 9 o'clock position) - Ice hardened steel, the only downer for me is that there is currently no bracelet available.

It is in every way the epitomy of a tool watch

Gets my vote, uber stealth (put it next to a Rolex and only those in the know will 'know'). Good luck trying to find one - they are as rare as rocking horse poo....
I've recently found one and am trying to convince the owner to part with it.

I quite like the look of that...

Slightly more 'modern' than some of the Sinn or IWC pilot's watches...

I was under the impression that althought there is alead time for build, they should be reasonably quick to turn up new?
Am I wrong?

The website I got that picture from has $2208 as the credit card price and said to 'email about a bank transfer price', so one assumes you can get it cheaper...

I guess you might be able to get it for about £1k, which doesn't seem like bad value if you like the watch.

Digger,
If you do get to see one could you please let me know your thoughts.
Any chance of a photo or two with your present watch as a comparison. I'd like to get a feel for the size of the thing.
Cheers

I have a Damasko DA37 - great watch.
All Damaskos are difficult to get hold of new, as the manufacturer (Mr. Damasko !) has had a few production and supply problems.
The UK dealer is Eddie Platts at www.timefactors.com. Funnily enough he has just had a pair of DC56 come in today, but they have gone.

Digger,
Did you get to see the DC66?
Any thoughts on it, or photos?

Hi Dave,
yes I saw it, it's good and then some! cool

Sorry I'll give you an update when I get a moment, work yikes and serious engine problems are cutting down my PH time during the day.
