I'm in the market for a new Rolex Submariner with date (black and silver version)
And I have been told there is a waiting list of upto a year!!
In the London area .. does anyone know where I could get one sooner?
Is it worth trying the offical Rolex shop in Pall Mall??

Thanks

This one http://www.hacket ttches.com/hw/items/unid/21E2AA... had this company recommended to me.

Just add a t in front of watches to make link work.

Not sure it helps but there are a few out in Dubai.

I think I got one of the last 3 Sea Dwellers in Dubai over the weekend.

The SD we just got couldn't be discounted any more than 10% (the system would not except anything lower) and we got it for AED 21,000 - which at an exchange rate of 7.4 = GB 2,838.00

Hopefully that chould give you a reference - IIRC - the Subs (with date) RRP was around AED 2,000 = GBP 270 less than the SD.

Doesn't surprise me - Firstly Dubai isn't the shopping haven it once was and secondly, there are only a small number of proper Rolex dealers and those dealers will be owned by one or two families...

I didn't fancy buying outside the official network given that 'ethics' is not an oft mentioned word in this part of the world.
