Why does it take sooo long

Took my Tag Heuer Carrera in to my local jewellers this morning to have a replacement glass fitted. Said i'd never wear it whilst working on my motor, but...............st happens!
Anyway the date they gave me for it to be due back was the 5th May. WTF is going on here then! Thats the most piss poor customer service ever. WHY? any proper answers appreciated thank you.

No it's not! had my Rolex serviced it was away for months. when I had the audacity to ring them to get a date of return I was told in no uncertain terms that I would get it when they were good and ready, I should be grateful that I owned one of their products and if I wasn't happy buy something else.

What fantastic service. I'd buy something else.
