What do we think of Ebel Ladies watches. How do they fit into the hierarchy.

Consider it as jewellry rather than a watch.
I bought my wife an 18K Beluga with diamond and emerald bezel and it's a lovely thing.
Movement is just a 50p eta quartz though.

I bought my wife a sport classic. She was thrilled with it. The advantage with this model is that both ladies and mens come in two sizes with a choice of dial and bezel styles. I have the mens version and while I chop and change my other watches I will never let the Ebel go. Maybe not have the cache of a Rolex but it's the most tastefully designed watch IMHO. My others are automatics and I have to say after a while you appreciate the accuracy of a quartz watch!

I must admit that Ebel have not been on my shopping list until recently. I saw an advert and article in a magazine about the 1911 chronograph. Been to have a look at the watch in the shop and must admit it would be a toss up between that and a Tag Heuer Grand Carrera 17RS.

Which model are you thinking of??

Thanks for the posts. She has a Rolex lady date at the moment but has expressed a desire for a 'dress'watch for evenings. I was attarcted by the Ebel Classic range

In which case the smaller of the two ladies models is typically worn as a dress watch.
