Those Tag's are both nice, but why not look for something pre-owned, thats less likely to loose a load of money instead?

Check out what similar money can buy you from these guys

Quite badly obsessed by Monacos at the moment.
Also quite like the Speedmaster moonwatch but it's a little too similar to my Seamaster I reckon.

This watch buy Romain Jerome is made from the hull of the titanic. Coolness factor very high. Price also very high...

Resemblence of hands to penises also very high ...

And in my opinion the in poor taste quotient is off the scale ... the Titanic is a grave after all.

Ha, the hands are meant to look like the anchors! I think a lot of 'bad taste' criticism has been leveled at the collection in a similar vain to yours. I still think it's like wearing a piece of history and preserves the memory.

The Zenith Chrono becomes much more attractive the more I look at it.
Hmm, well if they are meant to look like the Titanic's anchors then I think a bit more research would have been in order.

As for the criticism, well, honestly I wouldn't wear a watch made from pieces of the Titanic, if you paid me, whatever it looked like.

Which Zenith chrono are you looking at? The Class Sport is aboslutely, well, class ... pun intended ... wink ... just about at the top of my list at the moment.

I would love a Tag Heuer Link Automatic Chronograph in grey, although I cannot justify the cost!

It's fine unless you go near your freezer with it on.

It took all my restraint not to buy this. Such a thick watch with the glass back.

I was set to buy it. However, I foolishly tried this one on which is much nicer in real life than on the picture.

I've never really been a fan of anything other than Tag (except by designers who I am unlikely to ever afford!).

What are the qaulity of these here?

I love the top one, but after a reading alot from you guys that they are kind of sell outs now and dont build the real watches they used to I was a bit weary..

What are your thoughts on these two tag efforts?

I think that could be said of their bog standard lines, I'm not sure of the grand carrera line as they are an in-house movement(I think) dunno where they are manufactured though?

I'm enjoying my Bell & Ross BR01-92 just now, and have got lots of favourable comments.

Also, I have received other comments, like that of the guy who was searching me at airport security "Jesus, it's like Big Ben!"

Apart from the 360 which has an in-house chronograph module on an ETA base they are all lightly modified ETAs.
