Just bought a brand new Sea-Dweller
Discussion
cheers
I was after a Daytona, but this one was for sale in an official dealers and I thought "sod it, why not" so bought it
I'll probably never get the Daytona now, but that's life i guess.... All i need to do i sell my navitimer World now. I suppose i'll have to stick it on e-bay. I've had an offer of £1,200 for it from Watches.co.uk so I'll try e-bay to see if i can get any more for the navitimer before i sell it to the dealers. Here's to a thousand scammer e-mails about to arrive

and well pleased with it !
4mm thicker case than a Submariner, gas release valve and thicker grystal glass... much better all round
Good choice- was it new or second hand?4mm thicker case than a Submariner, gas release valve and thicker grystal glass... much better all round
I usually buy second hand from http://www.theoldwatchshop.co.uk/
I have a Sea Dweller, Heuer Carrera (leather strap), Omega (1942 military) with leather strap - bought from above and a CWC military with military strap (1977) and a Hamilton military (1974) . Admittedly the last two are not the most expensive that you can buy but the collection has to start somewhere doesn’t it.
Also the Mrs has a 1930’s Rolex rose gold dress watch which was bought from the above shop – not that expensive compared to the stainless steel sports watches.
If anyone is interested in Rolex watches they should buy the following book.
‘Vintage Rolex sports watches’ by Martin Skeet and Nick Urul
Not an official Rolex book but enough to make anyone interested in watches go weak at the knees – now where did I but that lottery ticket. What with cars and watches how much would I need to win - a mega Euromillions rollover at least?

Had mine for 2 years and love it. Dont wear it all the time due to the usual 'thats a good fake' comments so usually wear my Chopard GT XL LE.
i wouldn't worry about the comments of others - just wear the watch you want.if they say - nice fake mate - say, yeah, it's not bad and smile
life's too short to be lived according to the comments of others
