Hi there,
Just bidded one on eBay for 7500 GBP, is it a nice price? As i've asked every rolex dealer in london, all said it's impossible to get it in store and there's a waiting list for 3years... in Hong Kong, there's one sold for over 8000 GBP too! Do any one has any idea what's on with this watch and is the rumour that Rolex is recalling this watch true due to the anti-magnet problem?
Anyone has this watch in hand wanna let go and how much you bought it for?
Thanks
Jun

£7,500 is a crazy price; also on Ebay there is one which has been on offer since 9 February with no bids, at £4,200. Another (used example) has a 'Buy it Now' price of £3,875, why try to buy one at £7,500?

I wonder if the person who beat your bid was a genuine buyer - or someone having a laugh!

I don't think either of these are GVs. See "buy it now" price of this GV

The word is that Rolex are having difficulty producing the GV due to the green sapphire crystal hence the low numbers/long waiting list/ high premiums on resale.

The more cynical amongst us may think that Rolex are trying to create a market by limiting the production. Worked for the s/s Daytona!

Cheers mate!
If it really go for US $17,000.00 (approximately £8,667.72), then 7500GBP really is an acceptable price.

So, any one knows if the recalls of this watch is true or not???
