Hi,

I have seen a few of these up for sale on other forums, never seen one in the Flesh. I am intrested in getting one, as they seem great value and look stunning.

Just wondered if anyone on here has seen one (or has one), just to get a bit of feedback on it, before i decide. (was waiting for a pro blue traser, but then saw this.

Tempted to buy new, as i missed out on one 2nd hand and the new price is good.

Thanks.

That's a lot of watch for £395. You prefer the 556 with the baton markers to the other ones (656 etc) with numbers on the face ?

I like the display back.

Yes i love the back, this is what really attracts me, to see the working's in action.

I do like the 656, but i prefer the 556 face (at present)

I think Sinn are quite hard to see in the flesh as only chronomaster sells them new in the U.K.

Worth a gamble though! I saw the 356 Flieger on Chronomaster, and it looks every bit as good on my wrist!

i am cool with not seeing one in the flesh, and am happy to go for one from Neil at chronomaster, just seeing anyone else has a sinn, and is happy with it.

looks quality.

I think Tertius has or had one. I don't think it was a 556 though.

I do indeed - an 856 - which is absolutely fab.

Some pics in this thread: http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...

A couple of thoughts re. the 556, and I'm not trying to put you off it, just my thoughts:

1. I think its a little smaller than the 856 (which is not itself huge, about 40mm), and perhaps a little on the small side

2. I'm personally not so keen on the dial design of the 556 compared to the 856 or 656 - I think the date at 4 on the 856/656 is a nice touch. Though having said that the simplicity of the 556 dial has a certain something

3. I don't think the 556 has the tegimented finish of the 856 (mind you neither does the 656)

Pretty sure you won't go wrong with any Sinn, but a few thoughts.

i had read it was smallish, but thats cool, i like the simplicty of the dial.

Read a whole lot about sinn, and all good.

just going to go for one i reckon and take the plunge.

I have just bought a Sinn 103 Ti Ar from Neil at Chronomasters.

Love the watch, and very pleased with the efficient service from Neil.

As other have said, the watches offer a lot for the money.

Kind regards

I bought a Sinn 144 from Neil at Chronomasters 18 months ago.
I can highly recommend both Sinn & Neil.
The watch has been trouble free and only loses 2 to 3 seconds every day.

Cheers,
Tel.

Looks good. Do Sinn watches only come with black faces?

They are [iu]mainly[/i] black dials though.

The 356 is available with a copper dial, the 956 and the 6100 regulator are available with white/cream dials but iff the top of my head I can't think of others ... perhaps the Aviator?
