Mods - not your usual 'watch' thread, but feel free to move if needs be.

I have a casio WR200M G Shock watch - yipee I hear you cry!!

all of a sudden, the display has gone a bit fuzzy. If you look at it straight on, you can't read it, but if you tilt the face either way, you can.

If you buzz the light on, for get it.

The watch has a lithium battery, and is lessthan 2 years old.

Any suggeestions?

Ta in advance,

Pilgrim

I used to have a G shock & 2 years was the max for the batt - LCD will start to fade and if the light is used just about everything else shuts down. Wot u describe just sounds like battery death to me.

The vicar told you you'd go blind, but you just wouldn't listen, would you...?

I've owned many G-Shocks over the years and my experience is the same. If hard to read, pop a new battery in.

Battery only gives you 18 to 24 months on a G Shock in my own experience,

Although i have a tough solar/waveceptor at present, 2 years faultless use with accidental abuse. Recommend next time you thinking of buying a G shock.
