Hi

Yesterday I bought a citizen ecodrive nighthawk watch. Ive had it on since 1pm yesterday and
the second hand is still ticking at 2 second intervals, which is (according to the book)
a warning that its low and needs to be left in a light place to recharge.

According to the book again, even in low light situations, a full charge will take 22 hours
but its still ticking like its not fully charged.

Just how long do they take to fully charge? Last night the luminous
hands hardly worked at all. This morning they are a fair bit brighter, but not 100%

Im currently sat in a well lit office with windows all around, its like a greenhouse! so no
problems with light.

Im still not sure what some of the dials on the watch mean mind!

Could mine be faulty?

Thanks smile

A friend has one that he only wears from time to time. It takes a full day sat under a desklamp to charge from flat; you could try this.

Cheers smile I guess i'll have to try that. Would of thought it would be fully charged by now though. Maybe im expecting too much. I guess it depends how long its been sat in the box for too.

Initially takes quite a while to charge, but then easily maintains it.

The hands on my Skyhawk Blackeagle are also very dark, earlier ecodrive watches were much brighter. So long as the hands glow at all the dealer don't seem to care.
