new Seiko orange moster on fleabay?
Discussion
I'm just concerned about the price compared with uk sellers.
£93 from foreign seller
£150 from uk seller
Possibly fake or scam?

It also might be worth wating a week or so and doing another search. Two mates on mine I work with have both bought Seiko monsters (one orange, one black) from the same UK based ebay seller for £99 plus about £6 shipping.
The guy doesnt have any listed at the moment but I'm sure he will again soon (the ones I speak of above were purchased months apart).
I will find out the exact seller id and pm it to you (it's not me)

I'll keep looking.
the European price could also be the dealer reflecting the availability or lack of. These are becoming less and less common these days, as Sieko have brought out a new line of Orange Monster watches.
Even here in asia you would have to go through several watch shops before you found one, especially with the metal strap.
Top watch though, love mine which has been going strong for 3 years now!

I ask because I've just bought one, and need it to be fairly rugged. I've read nothing but good reviews.
Its a black face / SS strap model.
Probably the toughest watch for the money i recon (give or take the odd G-Shock) Its a black face / SS strap model.
I wear mine only when doing activities where it will get bashed, and its still going strong!
I was thinking about this thread this morning and realised that whenever someone has asked me to recomend a good waterproof automatic watch for realistic money I always recommend the "Monster".
However, I have never followed my own advice... until about half an hour ago
There is now a Black face Monster on the way to me... Yay!!!
(Two of the people who I have advised in the past in this office wear them and, for me, in the metal, the Black face looks better. Somehow classier)

By the way, I paid just over £100 for mine, including VAT and delivery from a UK jeweller in Manchester. I phoned and ordered it yesterday, and it arrived today by Amtrak.
It is the black face model with SS strap.
I've no affiliation at all, but for those pondering buying it from some faceless EBay seller might wish to buy it from Blighty for a similar amount of dough.

just so that you guys have some perspective, i had a wander around town this afternoon to see how much an Orange Monster was selling for here. (Singapore)
out of 10 watch shops in the appropriate district only 3 had an Orange Monster in stock, 2 were metal straps @ £120 ish and one on a black rubber strap for £95
these prices are before any haggling, but gives some prespective on the values / demands of these watches, i bought mine a few years back for £80 ish with the metal strap.

Finally got mine brand new albeit from a private seller on ebay for £86.
