these crop up in rolex dealers in leeds fairly regularly, if anyone is after one try owen and robinson. Date submariners are also to be found much easier too

I've only ever seen three submariners in a shop window. 2 of which I bought there and then and the other (this one) I held with a deposit.

These 50th anniversary models are really not very rare, particularly in the 'States where a massive discount off list price is offered - without even asking!! They're also pretty horrible looking, think that's why they don't sell.

I have a Green bezel 50th anniversary Sub bought in Singapore in May for way less than list ~£2150 IIRC. They are about if you ask!

Yep the green bezel one is not that rare..see one in window diplays fairly regularly...in fact none of the rolex sports models are hard to find anymore apart from the SS daytona.

There was a 50th anniversary in a local jewellers at £3250 mate got it for £2950 cash! Nice watch i love em.

So rare that you just saw one in a window and every online retailer has new and used ones for sale with second hand ones selling under list?

We have seen quite a few for sale on here over the last year also.
