Tag Monaco date display

I've only had my Monaco for 18 months but it has gone back for a repair twice now.....both times because the date doesn't wind all the way on. Anyway, I received it back again today and it looks like the jeweller has replaced the "date wheel" with a new one that is a slighter different and in a larger font. I called them briefly to quiz them but (as has happened before) they don't really give you a run down on what they have done, just that the problem has been fixed.
Obviously I am worried about having a watch that looks slightly odd to the other Monaco's out there and to be honest I would quite like a refund and look towards another brand. (PS it was sent to the offical after sales people as mentioned in the guarantee-not some backstreet "specialist&quot!!
Does anyone know what my rights are in such a situation. Thanks in advance.
