Well, I've had a number of Pateks and Audemars' through my hands of late but it has been some time since a Vacheron sat on my wrist. This has now been corrected
I was browsing ebay and came across this - I was round the corner from Bond St, where it was being sold, this morning, so grabbed it.
It's a '333', which followed the '222' and evolved into the Overseas. It was designed by Gerald Genta and features an ultra thin automatic movement, and is steel with a healthy smattering of solid 18kt.
Pic from the ebay ad, and it does not do it justice. The thing is like new.
And the best bit?
£600.
I love unfashionable watches. I can also wear it anywhere, as most will think it's a Longines or the like.
Did I mention I'm a bit happy with it?
