since we are talking about AP RO ...what are peoples feelings on hublot big bang?
I'm a fan, but it's one of those that you want to have, but only as an add on to the collection once you've got the watches you really want, if you know what I mean.Often on the list but not at the top.
A bit like the Freak.
i am a great fan of AP....i have a couple of the alinghi including the carbon fibre one from last year...they are very distinctive and yet simple....i finally got the T3 about a month ago from AP in new york as they still have some unsold ones...but they are not cheap....however once on the wrist all that pain goes away!!
I have an AP ROO Titanium with dark blue face and winder, etc.
Nice watch with just the right weight but was surprised by how easily it scratches - diving into my computer holdall it picked up a scratch off the plastic zipper.
Priced between GBP 9,400 & GBP 10,600, depending where you buy, i.e., country, airport, shopping mall.

An extortionate price for a watch with a 7750 inside.I quite like some of the Offshores, but there's certainly more than a whiff of Eurotrash about them (if the people I see wearing them are anything to go by).

Chaps, as a big bang owner I must respond....
The bb was the pinnacle of my small collection, regrettably a year or so ago all my other watches were stolen, leaving me with only the bb. I wear it every day and whilst not the most discreet of timepieces it never fails to make me feel good when I look at it.
I constantly am on the look out for watches to replace those that were stolen but am always mindful that the bb does everything I need...it looks good (taste I know), is very distinctive, keeps great time and is still as rare as hens teeth.
AP's are lovely, but when you have a BB you don't want one.......

I've got the RG Big Bang and love the watch - wear it all the time and far prefer it to any of my AP watchesI also thought about getting a T3 watch - but I borrowed one for a day and it's just too big
