Just come accross www.ballwatch.com seems to have some really nice models, not sure of prices and only 3 sellers in the Uk.
Go here for the prices:-
www.jurawatches.co.uk
The music on their site seems Russian but the company's address is in Switzerland. Seems that the cost from £500 up to over £1,000 but with no history I'd rather buy a proven Seiko cheaper or add a bit for a Sinn.

Ball Standard Watch company was established in 1890, built to set strict accuracy standards for railroad watches and clocks after a major crash in 1891 in the USA, always swiss built though.
Their PR line is: "Accuracy Under Adverse Conditions"
I've got one because theyre well made, solid and good value for money, but also mainly for the "gadgets" like being anti-magnetic, micro gas lights for night reading and mechnical temprature guage. Not for you if you want people know what your wearing, best stick to Tag/Omega for that.
