The metal linked bracelet style strap (sorry don't know the technical term!) could probably do with a clean as it's a couple of years old now.
Does anyone have any advice on the best way for me to do this?
Thanks

As a jeweller to take the watch off the strap, and use a sonic cleaner?

Thanks for the advice, well apart from the bit about the wife's toothbrush!

I use a small ultrasonic bath, works very very well.

no idea what they cost (it's only big enough to get something the size of a can of lager in (not that you'd want to) but I got mine from a ship I was working on. If they're not too expensive I'd certainly recommend one.

Jeez you lot! My jeweller long ago said fairy liquid and warm water with whose ever toothbrush you wanted to use! My watches have always had that Fairy sparkle! Incidentally, he also said that for the "better half's" jewellery, it was much cheaper to buy a soft toothbrush and use Fairy and warm water than to take it in for cleaning, which basically is all they do. All my girl friends would I am sure agree!

I know, I know!
I'm just surprised no one suggested putting it in the dishwasher smile
