Hello chaps,

Im not a regular in this forum, and about the only thing i know about them is that it's about quarter past four at the moment.

My dad has a '73 Seiko automatic (6138-3002), an absolute beaut - looks like this...

...if it was in decent nick. But it's not...

One of the chrono hands has come off, the additional (alledgedly rare) hand wind doesnt work, the date doesnt rollover properly (goes to the arabic version rather than over to the next day!), and it's running a bit slow. The crystal has been bodge replaced at some point and the clasp on the original stainless bracelet is a little dog eared. Im guessing the 35yo water resist seals are probably knackered too!

So... anyone know where I might attempt to bring it back to life? I could prob buy another for £150-200, but it has sentimental value.

Much obliged!

Bought a pocket watch off this chap, and had one repaired by him.

Good old fashioned watch repairer, who was trained in Switzerland
