I love the Compressor Chrono, with brown leather strap its defo the next watch on my list. a really contemporary and classy look in my opinion.

were you thinking steel or leather???? steel is a great and comfortable strap but personally I love the look of the leather and have two steel watches so cant wait for a change!

Either way is great, good luck

I think I saw one in the sale for about £1950-ish over the weekend, dunno if it had any scratches etc on it tho, it was from an AD tho.

So assuming you are considering steel with leather strap (which would be my choice)., this is the chrono:

And this is the geographic:

(Sorry about the big pic, but it was far anw away the best I found).

Now I am a huge JLC fan (have a Master Date) but I don't think the chrono is quite resolved somehow. Also I think the Geographic is more unusual, will be more rarely seen, so of the two I'd take that.

Yes, definately steel with a strap. I too prefer the Geographic...there is something not quite right about the dial on the Chrono. That said, I prefer the Croc strap on the Chrono but I guess that's easy to change.

Yes dammit...more funds to find then...although equally I feel the pull of a Planet Ocean Chrono....a lot of bangs for your buck! Decisions decisons!

I had a similar dilemma recently and decided that the PO Chrono was the way to go, however once I tried it on and realised how deep the watch was I ended up purchasing the PO Non-Chrono as it sat much better on my wrist. The PO Chrono is a perfect size for a large watch but definately needs an exhibitionist to pull it off hehe as the depth will really take some getting used to IMO.

If you shop around, £3.5K for the Master Compressor Chrono, £4.5K or so for the Geographic and £5.5K or so for the Extreme World Chrono.

Unless of course someone has seen them cheaper elsewhere..in which case spill the beans!
