I am looking for a chrono with a large face, Tag Carrera style, budget up to 3K, any suggestions?

I've recently bought an IWC Aquatimer Chrono, excellent build quality and wears superbly. It's also well within your budget. I posted a few pics in this thread here - http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/gassing/topic.asp?h=0...

Thanks so far people: I have just discovered U-boat, 50mm face! Now that is what I call a LARGE watch.
I like the fact that it has the time adjustment winder on the L/H side too as I wear a watch on my right hand and this will make setting the time far easier ( not a major problem I know but along with the seemingly keen price, yet more fodder to bolster a final decision ) yes
I do not know loads about watches and as I said, have only just happened across U-boats existence, any opinions of this manufacturer?

You can pick up Breitling Hercules for under £1500 now.

Big and heavy - lovely.

IMO, U-Boat watches have come about as a cynical marketing tool to respond to the current trend for large watches. If they are your thing, then fine, go ahead. But I'd steer clear.
