Is there anything in particular to look out for when choosing a Watch Winder?

I'm looking at Winders for two Watches and would appreciate any advice before purchase.

Thanks,

C.

You want ones that are quiet, timed, and (most inportantly), wind both ways. Always make sure you have room for other watches, as you will want more...

Thanks Don. Can you elaborate on winding both ways along with any recommendations?

I have a Rapport double which I am very happy with. Has timed and constant settings and goes clock & anti-clock. Keeps my Omega's nicely wound.

From what I understand (and I'm no expert, and the regulars will attest to that!), you need to have the watch wound both ways to stop the spring being over-tightened in one direction.

As for recomedations, talk to Rainer at all4watches@aol.com

Thanks for the advice guys. wink

The Rapport boxes look very good, i'll have a look around at prices etc.

I've dealt with Rainer in the past who was a pleasure to deal with, an e-mail has been sent.

All the Best.
