Looking to buy this watch after christmas
I am travelling to the US so might pick it up at Heathrow on the way

Just wondering if anyone has this watch and your impressions of it
Thanks!

I don't have one but they're a beautiful looking watch. You need a big wrist to carry them off, though.

I wouldn't say you need a big wrist to wear one unless you move up to the doppelganger or the big pilot. I have the 371704 and had to take several links out but it fits me a treat. While waiting for the links to be removed though I did try on the big pilot and it made me realise just how big that watch is. The lugs were well outside each side of my wrist!

I have a 371701 and (very) small wrists. Looks fine on me. Certainly wouldn't go any bigger than 42mm, although now 40mm watches look too small... scratchchin

I have that very same watch...

My experience has been that the case scratches easily and it is currently back at the Swiss IWC HQ for the second time in about 15 months being repaired under warranty despite being very well looked after....

So, I will be selling mine once it's come back!

But... It is a beautiful watch and it looks fantastic in 42mm and doesn't appear too big, looks smaller than a Panerai, which I think is a good thing!
