You've just bought a watch you really like the look of, then trip outside your garage, and put a bloody great scrape in the glass. Especially after telling yourself to take it off while you are spannering the car, and say to yourself, "later, just got to do this bit first"

i bought my new watch on friday and friday night i put my first scratch in the bezel it was a relief as now i can just get on with wearing it rather than protecting it.

About a week after buying my Tag 6000 chronograph, I went dune boarding, forgot to take the watch off and scratched it to f**k. 7 years later it's still on my wrist and still scratched.
