Was in a jewellers last night purchasing an eternity ring for the missus, and saw the Monaco sitting there for £2,250. I've always like this watch, and promised myself i'll have one...one day.....
I'm not a watch enthusiast, so I'm sure there are better watches, but that's the one I like, where's the best place (read: cheapest) place to get one from?
Cheers

The least hassle is to buy one from an authorised dealer, but ask for a discount of around 20% off MSRP. You should achieve this with average negotiating skills. Obviously there are loads of dodgy ones for sale on ebay etc on the black market.I'm not a watch enthusiast, so I'm sure there are better watches, but that's the one I like, where's the best place (read: cheapest) place to get one from?

Nobody in their right mind is going to pay RRP for a watch. I don't know why people bother quoting RRP in any country. You should quote the lowest price you can find as a real comparison. Reference to RRP is only used to convince your other half what a bargain you've found!uktrailmonster said:

Depends on whether you get an International warranty or North American. Also depends whether you've paid the VAT and duty when bringing it into the UK. Chances are it will be fine, but might be more hassle. uktrailmonster said:

Have to say I am not impressed with the time keeping of the Tag Monaco.
Appears to lose a minute a day !!!
for a watch only 2 years old !!!
Not unusual - just needs a failry straight forward "regulation" adjustment now it's run-in.Appears to lose a minute a day !!!
for a watch only 2 years old !!!
