Hi,

I am looking for the following in JLC - SS Reverso Squadra Chronograph GMT and am going to New York in a couple of weeks, does anyone have any suggestions of where I could get one and whether I could get a discount or the price I should pay.

Many thanks

Joe

I think Wempe are the (only?) J-LC AD in New York.

.....been said a few times on here, but NY isn't the best place to get a deal on watches, even with current exchange rates. Unless you can get to a dealer well outside the city, then it's an Uber-expensive place to shop!

where would you suggest that one travels in order to find a good discount on watches (not to fussed about where as it'll be incoperated into a holiday). im particulary intrested in breitlings if that helps at all.

Cancun, I got 28% off RRP for the Rolex and the £/$ exchange rate is sooooooo much beter now. Plus, best holiday ever: Mayan ruins, diving, swimming with dolphins, etc, etc!

Just has a look at cancun and it does look very appealing !! i think i know where my next holiday is goin to be! might be a daft question but im assumming your saving was against the RRP over there and not against the RRP here.

I've looked at Rolex all over the world and the prices seem fairly constant, so it's effectively off of UK RRP. However, the Omegas I looked at were more expensive than the UK - go to Geneva for them...wink I think 28% may be over 30% now and always ask for a discount!

...and never consider Mexican diamonds, you can see the faults with the naked eye....prime the burd/wife/partner on that before ya go....

Remeber though, you have to get them through UK Customs, but they've got bigger fish to fry than 1 watch for personal use methinks!
