Need a bit of help on this one. My wife's 30th is coming up and we're looking for a "decent" watch for her. The trick is that she's got these magical powers that drain normal battery powered watches in about a year flat. She's currently got a small Citizen Ecopower divers type watch which is fine, except that the date magnifier is scratched and effectively opaque. Her job (as a civil engineering lecturer) involves the possibility of the watch getting bashed.

So I'm looking for:
- Ladies watch
- Non-battery powered (alone)
- Quite solid if possible
- Not vastly expensive as it may get dinged

Any suggestions?
