Buying within the EU

Has anyone on hear bought a watch within the EU. Did they avoid any duty. Reason im asking i may buy a watch from Finland and was wondering if i will be hit with any duty.

You will not pay duty on a watch sold within the EU.

I have bought a watch from Sweden im in the UK and paid nothing in tax
