Just been to Barcelona and came across a watch shop selling virtually all the major big boy brands

Audemars P
Breguet
Blancpain
Lange & S
Glashutte Original
Richard Mille
Jaeger Le C
Hublot
Vacheron C
Chopard
IWC
Panerai
Ulysse N
Zenith

just to name a few - their cheap stuff was Omega, Tag and Breitling. I've never seen a shop with such a comprehensive range in one place.

The only 'names' they didn't have was Patek and Girard P

Watch heaven -

I stumbled across one in Stockholm recently. It even had a champagne bar on a mezzanine floor above the shop floor.

Shame it was even more expensive than London.

nah

London - that would be "darn sarf" - only been there a handful of times in 43 years and never for shopping.

Only noticed the one in Barcelona cos it was oposite one of the Gaudi buildings.

It's got the largest watch emporium in Europe. London is full of great watch shops.

Sparky, I'm in Barca next Wednesday to watch a match, and know the city quite well. Where exactly IS the watch shop? Which Gaudi building is it near?

I found those guys on the net before I went out to Barcelona over the Summer. You are right they do have an incredible selection but after living with Selfridges on my doorstep, it does set the expectation levels a little higher. Never the less, a very impressive shop with excellent staff.

I don't think so - either way they would probably be in the lower price bracket

Singapore seems to have a great watch shop on every corner, was in one yesterday when a guy wanders in and casually ordered a Patek Phillipe 5907 (think that's the correct model). It was about £50k anyway eek , he was informed of the wait time > 18 months, he said he knew this as he had just received his current one (5906) and how much deposit did they want.
I managed to try on a Hublot Big Bang, about as close as I will ever get to owning one. I take back what I said in a previous about them being a bit "Chav". Thing was cockin gorgeous.
