MrsT has decided that as I have treated myself recently, then she would like a new watch. Not wanting to stifle my planned winter mods, I sort of agreed (although not any budget). My only stipulated condition is that it has to be made by a watch making company, and not a dress making, handbag making, shoe making, pen making, car making or anything else making company. But which one, and why. Sensible suggestions appreciated. Amusing ones accepted.

Omega do some lovely ladies watches.

Not keen on Tag or Rolex ladies watches - chunkiness doesn't suit the small size IMO.

JLC do some nice ones too.

I tried this one on yesterday:-

Omega De Ville Co-Axial Automatic

Really liked the size and the texture of the bracelet. It's not too big (I tried a Hublot Big Bang on last week!) but at 32mm it is big enough to be seen.

That's absolutely gorgeous. I love the version in white gold with the blue mother of pearl face. Hope my missus doesn't spot it! wink

So.... Omega I've heard of JLC sounds more like a loudspeaker manufacturer, but I am sure someone will enlighten me. Any other suggestions?

And I know you said no 'fashion' type watches, however I bought my wife one of these for her birthday and she loves it...
