Has anyone got any experience of the watch makers on this site?

The Limes range look to have a decent selection in the understated styles I prefer (EG their 112 styles) at a price point I can get my head around. How do they compare to the big names in terms of quality? How about in terms of desirability? Are these the Ladas of the watch world?

DOn't know aything about Limes, though a quick search on TZ suggests they are well regarded.

For that style (and nearly that pricepoint) have you looked at Nomos? A bit more interesting I would suggest, though I am a bit of a broken record when it comed to Nomos.

Never heard of them, but I will look - I'm not really a watch enthusiast (looking for an everyday tool rather than an exquisite toy IYSWIM) so am open to suggestions. Thanks.
