I have an early nineties Tag Heuer SEL Stainless Chrono which i've worn every day for the last 15(?) years. The metal bracelet clasp is pretty worn as you can imagine smile

Is it still possible to buy spares for this? Any recommendations? Possible to buy on line?

Any help appreciated.

Try Tag Heuer UK at;

Duval House 16-18 Harcourt Street Worsley , Manchester, M28 3GN Tel: 01204-861168.

Give them the watch/bracelet reference and they should have a price for the clasp/bracelet.

Try your local Tag stockist, if TAG UK won't sell you the part they should certainly supply your local AD.
Funny how a watch always needs a full service when returning to the service centre, even for a bracelet/clasp issue?

Reason for needing a full service is for their insurance, so if your watch stops working you can't say that when they had it they broke it.
Same with anything on a watch, from replacing a crown or pusher to replacing the strap.
It is very annoying, that I grant you, but in this society of compensation and insurance claims it is a neccesity to cover their backs.

Not really Andrew, it is just extra revenue. You should be able to have a watch service centre work on the bracelet/clasp without touching or opening the case. They should just charge for the work done, and clearly offer no warranty on the movement.
Let's face it, if a quartz watch (presumably working correctly) has a bracelet problem,there's no justifiable reason for insisting on a service....Just my two pence!

Err... where is this? The back of the watch has the number CG1110-0 cast into the back of the case, and the number M60685 engraved (?). The clasp has the number 473 on it.

^^ thats why i don't want to send it off to them - i'm happy to swap the bits myself, just need someone to sell to me directly, preferably on-line as i don't have the time to go visit a dealer right now..
