What's the usual UK RRP of the leather strapped Tag Monaco 69 flippy over watch? Saw one at a local dealer who's closing down for just over £2.5k.

You sure it's the 69? There is a very similar looking model which is much cheaper....if you're sure I'd like to know where as I want one of these smile

For £2.5k, i'd bite the hand.

As before, usual list on these is £4.5k. If you're anywhere near Reading and aren't going to take the option on this, i'd be happy to snap this up...

OK, it's in a shop on North side of George St in Edinburgh. I can't remember the name, but is either Hamilton & Inches, or the other one (Doh!) - but I'm overseas at the mo and cannot for the life of me quite remember!!

Thanks Jshell - Okay lads it's with Mappin and Web phone: 0131 225 5502

The watch don't have a box or papers but new ones can be ordered in!

They won't send the watch via courier or post so someone will have to go up there and pick it up and thats something I can't currently do someone go grab it - it's a bargain!

Nice one, hope someone gets a bargain. They've also got a S/S Omega Constallation Double Eagle for a knock-down price. So, I get back on the 14th, if anyone wants this TH-69 picked-up, packed ,insured and posted, let me know and I'll do it for cost as I have 4 weeks holidays from then!

Firstly, apologies for dragging this thread back up, but I thought I'd continue it, rather than starting a new one..........

Can I please get the watch cognescenti views on the Monaco 69? I've been tempted by a Monaco for a while and am considering a 69, rather than a "normal" Monaco. Within the watch world, are they seen as gauche and simply a tacky marketing exercise, or are they actually pretty desirable and cool to those in the know. I guess they're at one end of the scale or the other! smile

All views are welcome.

Thanks
Matt

Wouldn't call myself cognescenti, but I far prefer the old school style chrono with the croc strap.

I prefer the even older school original Heuer Monaco, which can be had for about the same price as the reissue:
