White gold daytona
Discussion
Every dealer I've asked for a SS Daytona has always said: "No, can't get them, but we've got a white gold one if you like"!
So, be looking for a hefty discount, or tell them you'll go next door and haggle. Eventually a dealer will take a 'deal'. I'd start at 15% and take no less than 7.5% - 10% discount.
Bit like that horrible green Anniversary Sub - every dealer I spoke to in the 'States had one and would offer me a discount.
Doh! ETA that I should have read your post about it being 8 months old. I'd be looking for a SERIOUS discount!

I just sold my white gold Daytona for exactly the reason Daz mentioned. It looked great on but look the wrong way and it will scratch. They start to look pikey quite quickly and hence their value drops like a stone. As a guide I paid £12300 in Italy just over a year ago and sold it in almost perfect condition for 8.5k recently.
Next watch will be SS regardless of make.
