Sinn or Oris... or something else?
Discussion
I'm getting a watch for my 40th (several months ago) but have yet to make a decision on which one. Looking at around £500, though I'd be happy enough to increase this by a few hundred if I find something I really like. Anyway, I think I've narrowed the choice down to two:
Sinn Flieger 356...
Oris BC3 Day Date
I like both for their simple design and value for money. My wrists are as thin as celery, so I can't have anything too chunky, and I'd rather have a leather strap. I prefer the Sinn, and I believe it's quite small, so that's the favourite at the mo. I've not seen either outside the interweb, so can anyone recommend a dealer/shop that I can visit to try them for size? (I'm based in St.Albans). Once the choice is made, I hope to buy it online to save money, so website recommends would be appreciated too!

I have the ORIS BC3 Day Date on a leather strap - not an Oris strap but a Hirsch Nature Collection that is black with contrast white stitching which was about £20 available at most high street watch shops.
I think it looks the muts
edited to add - Oris stockists can be found here:

These are a bargain online at £400 notes (£800 RRP i think). proper Seiko in-house automatic movement with complications for that price is stonking value. Quite thick though.
i have small wrists so i got a japanese market Seiko...the teeny japs scale their watches down to fit, so its tiny.

I too have that Oris BC3 Day/Date on the rubber strap. It is a very nice watch but quite different from the Sinn. Apart from anything else the Sinn will be a lot bigger and thicker.
The only UK dealer for Sinn is www.chronomaster.co.uk. The only realistic alternative will be to monitor the various watch fora for a private sale. But they don't come up very often ... I've been looking

I think your link is incomplete. I'd be interested to see which one you like, as I have also seen a few O&W I fancy.http://www.rltwatches.co.uk/acatalog/Ollech_Wajs.h...
Hmm, sorry. Put it down to a hard day. Have a look here at the watches and prices:-
