hello there guys, A couple of years ago while I was on holiday in america I came across a oakley store and saw the most beautiful watch

a oakley time bomb

wow what a wicked and brilliant watch, I bought one when I came back to london on a sale for 1500 pounds

what can I say, the watch is brilliant, it is made out of titanium, has a crystal face and works on the movement of ones hand so no batteries are needed.(works the same way as a rolex)

the watch is simply brilliant, a few years has past now and I have found that the watch would suit someone of a professional nature, I work in a very dusty enviroment and I never wear the watch, I think ive wore it like 5 times in the last few years and I always get people asking me... nice watch where and how much you pay for it

well Id like to sell the watch now and Ive looked on ebay and other websites . the watch still retails for a 1000 pounds and there are some cheaper virsions, if anyone is interested in buying my watch make me an offer of 400 and up. I think this would suit anyone who has the time to appreciate the time and effort to put this watch together. this is the titanium version.

cheers

Marki, Timebombs are automatic, not quartz. So Wayne is correct....

Or rather, "The O engine powers the Time Bomb, and chronometer movement never needs winding or batteries".

So yes - OK, it's not as prestigious as an 'Swiss' movement, but technically it's correct!

Don't buy it then? Or were you just trying to increase your already huge/shocking post count with that extra comment that added absolutely nothing to the thread hehe

The timebomb is very well made and I think the movement has more than a little similarity wink to a seiko Kenetic movement (it is automatic in power generation, but high end quartz in accuracy and movement).

Unfortunatly for the OP the other sentiments are quite correct, you can buy one of these brand new with all the paper work and warranty from American dealers for around the £250 mark. I paid £275 almost 2 years ago so prices have been stable at this level for quite some time. In fact £250 will actually get you a brand new "stealth black" version.

Around £400 will get you a spanking brand new Oakley Minute Machine (Swiss made, all titan, formally known as the "Time Tank&quotwink which is a far superior watch in every regard. sorry frown
