OK, I've seen what Wiki says about Flybacks, but it doesn't help me much. Any ideas (in other words explain it so a thickie like me can understand it please!)

Is by Breitling Hercules a Flyback? If not, why not?

Hi Don,

I've got a Zenith Rainbow Flyback with the chronograph pushers at 2 and 4 o'clock.

A flyback is a standard chronograph with an instant reset function, so you'd start timing (eg the time between junctions on a motorway), and then, by pressing the reset button you could instantly reset the chronograph to zero without having to stop, reset and then restart.

Cheers,
