Rang the service center in the UK and they quoted 5 weeks- what shocking crap service. Any other suggestions on getting it serviced. I may try sending it to Switzerland.

I have an Aerospace in for service at the moment. It's been away for 4 and a bit weeks currently.

Had the watch 3 years and beggining to loose time- needs a service but why does it take 5 weeks. Corum are the same as are Cartier

Because Breitling make nice watches, but the UK servicing are crap! IMO.

I wish for 5 weeks - my B1 is back after the battery that they fitted has died (three months rather than the usual 3 years) and it's been decreed that it needs a "full service" rather than a battery change to fix it...

Quoted 7 - 8 weeks...grrr.

Still been promised some Breitling freebies when I pick it up though wink

had mine serviced last year and yes although the service times are quite long, the results are stunning and well worth the wait The watch is stripped right down, case cleaned, any scratches on the face were removed, the strap is separated from the case, cleaned and polished up.I had been thinking about buying a chronomat evolution at the time but when i got mine back decided not to bother. Although have started looking again!

So what do they sting you for a service? My Aerospace is 10 years old, so could do with a bit of a tidy.

was roughly £235, watch was 7 years old , came back as good as new!If you contact your local Breitling agent, they have a price list for all models (mine is a colt superocean).

Yeah was told about £230-240 for my Aerospace. Bit of a con as when I had it serviced last time (circa 3 years) it was only £160.

I think it's to do with the decreasing amount of people qualified to service watches.
