The best solution (apart from ebay)
Discussion
Hello all
Just wanted to get a few options as to what I can do, I’ve got a collection of watches of varying makes, style and condition (mostly good, but all working) in total there are 30 watches which I’ve either bought to fix or bought to wear. I estimate that there is about £200 worth of watches
Now I’ve decided I want to get rid of them and have just a couple of nice watches. I’ve always fancied a nice Seiko or Citizen bullhead or a retro Seiko Chronograph. Something along those lines
But other than ebay what other options are there? Are there places I could go to trade all these in against one watch? Or just go to a pawn shop :shudder: and get some cash for them, then go buy the watch I want?
Have I missed anything? I could go the ebay route but I try not to use ebay if I can help it.
I’m going to take pictures of them all anyway and create a list so I’ll post pictures of them if anyone is interested.
Thanks for your help

It's illegal to buy or sell replica items anywhere, not just eBay. I don't wish to be rude, but your collection appears to be made up of budget watches or replicas. Neither of which have much of a legal re-sale value. If you want a decent Seiko or Citizen, why not go the Ernest Jones or H.Samuel pick out the watch you want and use their 0% finance? You'll get a perfectly decent watch, at a low monthly cost.
Hope this helps...

You have to careful selling replicas on Ebay, in fact i dont think they allow sales of replicas on there. But you can get round it, howver it is frowned apon.
thants what i thought, hence the reason for not using ebay, thanks all the same thoughDominic H said:

you're not being rude at all buddy as i said in my fisrt post, most of them are watches i bought to learn how to fix, the reps were pretty much given to me. i might keep hold of the gold plated citizen as it was the fisrt watch i bought with my paperound money, a wopping £30 it cost!Dominic H said:

don't get me wrong, im not selling these in order to buy a watch, i don't need to go on any interest free offered to get a £1000 watch. i just wanted to sell these on to make a spare change, if you see what i mean. Hope this helps...
thanks for the replys though!
