Want a nice-ish watch up to £500
Discussion
Well, I've only seen a couple I like. One being a 'rectlangular chronograph' type watch, and this (perhaps a bit too faddy/simple for the long term though):
Also, I'm looking for a bit of inspiration, and advice. So any 'typical' styles you could show me would be great, but also what to steer clear from, and if I would be better off spending less/more. Perhaps something which doesn't cost the earth to keep 'ticking'. Oh, I crack myself up.

Well my taste is towards mechanical watches, so that will tend to be what I'll suggest, maybe a Sinn 656:
or a Glycine KMU48:
or an Oris, many of which will come in under £500: www.oris.ch
or an Ollech & Wajs: http://www.chronomaster.co.uk/ollech_&_wajs.ht...
or for something different an RLT: http://www.rltwatches.co.uk/
or Time Factors: http://www.timefactors.com/
