Seiko Sportura World Timer Watch. Do you think the city display is a bit tacky? I like the rest of it.

Why don't you go for a Seiko Sportura SNA595 instead then? I love mine.

or the SNA481P which you can see on the Seiko website.

I like and indeed have thought about buying both.

My main qualm with the 'World Timer' one is I dont give a crap about 'World Times'! Surely the novelty of these has worn off? Does anyone genuinely care about them? I like the way the digital display can be blacked out - if it were not a world timer but maybe had a more useful feature I'd seriously consider it.

That does look good actually. I agree with Gompo that world times are pretty pointless really.

Edit: Just ordered the SNA595, should have it tomorrow or Friday

Bought one of these a 18 months ago, IMO a lovely watch but the orange dye comes out of the stitching so get a metal strap. Bought mine from a US watch site for £200

Yes and yes smile I like the looks and it feels like a weighty, quality piece of kit. The size is pretty much spot on for me too (about 40 mm excluding the crown)

Good effort - Where did you order it from/how much, if you dont mind?

I am seriously considering one as an everyday watch.

Cheers, Greg.

I ordered it off amazon and it came through a company called timeking. No problems with the delivery so I would recommend them. You can order it with steel strap or leather, the leather strap version is £239.99. I have seen the digital world time display version for £211 at "findwatches.co.uk" but I never used them before.

Also this is rather tasty and cheap too (again I have never ordered from here but they have 100% feedback):
