Hi,

Anyone have any experience of these cool looking watches?

http://www.traserh3watches.com/en/watches/category...

I am keen on the classic Auto Pro Blue or Classic Auto black face,
the black steel PVD looks cool, but not so sure how how long it will stay unscratched, hence S/steel better option,

seem stunning value,

Any views?

I have an old Traser S3000 and the illumination on it is like nothing you've ever seen before on a watch. Because the glow is caused by radioactivity it never diminishes as it doesn't need light to recharge and is VERY bright.

I have owned one for 6 years now. Very hard wearing and use it all the time, no scratches on the face or case. Did break the titanium strap and on speaking to the guy who now services and fixes the older models they were the weak point. Now have it on a black diving strap and like the look more. The batons are just so bright all the time its the best night vis watch I have owned. The are a tritum gas that should last for 8 years, well mines done six and looks no dimmer. Not sure its radio active though, as the waring sticker like sivia compasses etc?

Anyway overall good hard wearing watch with swiss movement, think the company is now called H3, whereas mine is just labled Traser on the face.

Believe it or not they are radioactive but at an insignificant level. Full explanation of the technology is here : www.traserh3watches.com/en/h3_technology/

dammit - i *really* want one of these. i realise they're probably not the best movement in the world. but i just think they're so damned cool and they look rugged as hell.

this one

trouble is a)i haven't got a couple of hundred quid cry and b)i have a daily wearer that i've had 8 years and still love to bits cloud9. the only time i take it off is in bed.

I bought the classic black, it was only about £60 so do that and buy a black strap later

I bought a Traser Black Storm Pro Tactical edition about 6 months ago for a work watch and cannot sing its praises enough. I would have bought the basic Black Storm but I liked the red second hand!!

I got it with the optional PVD strap to give it a tiny amount of 'class' as opposed to a pure work thing, but it is still used and abused daily. I used to have an old Tag Pro 2000 for a work watch that had numerous battle scars after a year or so but the Traser is only showing minute scuffs to the finish thus far.

The only minor gripe I have is a quality control and built issue. In that the ring with the little glowing glass bits in isnt 100% aligned to the hour markings. Its offset about 1-2 degrees anti clockwise. This doesnt affect the operation, and it took me a few weeks to actually even notice it.

I'd highly recomend it to anyone.

Just go for it!! And I wouldnt worry about the longevity of the PVD, I think it looks better and mine has really supprised me by the toughness of the finish.

Just had a look at the collection and the H3 P6506 Commander 100 Titanium would suit my wrist the best.

Any shots of them in the dark? I've seen the Ball ones, and they were very impressive...

you can see a info and shots on this link

I was wondering how robust the PVD was before i bought it, but it sounds good, also it is quite cheap.

I really like the Ball hydrocarbon, but a bit pricey for me, at the moment.

still dreaming of getting a rolex millgauss, with green glass.

so i will make do with a Traser H3 Pro Blue Classic,

smile

Got the H3 Auto Pro Blue in October 07. This watch is great! I work in an industrial setting - the band has become scratched. The watch should be able to hold a winding for 38 hours according to the information sent with it. I have found that after about 18 hours it comes to a stop. Got mine at http://www.watchmann.com/traserh3watches.asp
