What it says above really.

My Sintra has stopped working due to a dead battery, and i need to get it replaced. Do you guys know of a Rado approved service place where i can get this done in person without sending it to their head offices in the UK? Need a quick turnaround time (hence the in person bit), as i need to use the watch fairly soon.

Thanks

I think the only service centre is in Eastliegh in Hampshire. Try Watches of Switzerland, they all have a watchmaker on site. Any competent independant watchmaker should be able to you while you wait...

Hope this helps.

Many might ask why???? its a battery! This idea of it been sent away stuff is pure rubbish. Unless its needs a cert for pressure testing etc.

There is a guy in Picadilly Underground That will put a top spec battery in for about 5 pound. Dont thisk anyone else will do a better job. Ive seen this guy work on Tudors , Omegas , Sinn , Cartiers etc etc etc

he is their monday to friday and answers to the name "Shaun"

the only reason to get it sent off and get it done professionally is to ensure the watch stays watertight. Once the seal of a watch is broken, im fairly sure the gasket needs replacing (correct me if im wrong).

Im no diver but IF water does get in contact with my watch, i would like to know that the insides will not get destroyed. thats the only reason i avoided Mr Popat's watch repair shop in Harrow town centre.
