Hello,

I am a bit of a James Bond geek, hence the car I own. I am after a vintage Rolex Submariner mid / late 1960's. Can anyone recommend a good online shop or just a shop that deals with these?

Would anyone have any tips to look out for as I have never bought a secondhand watch before

Regards

Ian

Is it a Connery or Moore era Sub. you're looking for? The Moore one (#5513 early dial) shouldn't be too hard to find but the "Goldfinger" no crown guard models are getting a bit thin on the ground ( and rare = expensive) eek

From the car on you're profile I guess it's the latter you're after so try:-

Also you could join a Rolex forum and post a wanted ad. This one has got a lot of reputable sellers on it

Thanks Stiglet,

It is the Connery version I was after. But if the later ones are easier to get hold off I might go for that option.
