I had never heard of this make so researched it. The Airman 7 was 52mm wide? Wow! This must be one rare watch - how many of the Airman 8 watches were made? Incidentally, all you watch lovers, it is worth registering with Sothebys and indicating your liking for watches - they have several high class sales a year and there are some great, some middling and some run of the road watches for sale.

Lowdrag - the Airman 8 was in production between 2002 and 2006 only but don't know how many were made. Not many judging by the rarity though. The Vintage V version, one of which I recently missed out on, was limited to only 150 pieces worldwide. Not big numbers at all, well apart from the dial size on some of them, they are HUGE aren't they. The Airman 8 is only 36mm fortunately, since I have matchsticks for arms.
