Prototype watches
Discussion
I've posted this also on 3T (Mr Yellow Badge), but nothing thus far.
How do people find out about these? I've got my heart set on finding one (after I get the Oakley watches I want), for the fact they are exclusive, and the ones I've seen, quite powerful looking yet understated.
Anyone have any ideas / know of any for sale?
Cheers all.

I'm not entirely clear whether you are referring to prototype watches generally (which I imagine might look like anything) or the RLT (TAG) prototype justayellowbadge has?How do people find out about these? If the RLT then I imagine the place to look would be either:
http://www.rltwatches.co.uk/ or
http://www.thewatchforum.co.uk/index.php?act=idx which is the discussion forum linked to RLT Watches.

I'm after the Timebomb, and maybe the Holeshot (or GMT).
Cheers for the other sites.
Well I've got the Timebomb (x-Metal/carbon), GMT (Stealth Black) and the full titanium Time Tank (now called the "Minute Machine" ) and I highly rate all three. However, do not pay UK prices as they are HUGELY inflated. For Oakley watches ebay really is your friend Cheers for the other sites.
Timebomb - Very, very light and very comfortable to wear, subtle enough that it never gets comments unless you meet another Oakley fan. Bought from the USA (California) via an ebay shop (Watch had all the right docs and a stamped warrenty card) and paid around £280 after exchange rates a couple of years ago. UK price at the time for the model I bought was £1000. They are all over ebay right now with some silly prices due to the exchange rate. A stealth black version can be found for well under £300 (in fact I've seen them go for £200 quite often).
GMT - Be warned, its is VERY, VERY heavy as it is made from solid surgical grade stainless. Great watch though. Very stylish and I often see people checking it out and do get asked about it often. Bought from a mate who was upgrading so not sure what the current sale price is.
Time Tank - This this is a total MONSTER and I love it. Much lighter than the GMT despite its size. The case is 53mm long x 43mm wide(not including crown) and 12mm thick, the strap is 28mm wide.
Again it is very comfortable and always without fail gets commented on, and so far I havent received any negative comments. Even those who hated it in photos readily admit its a stunning peice of kit in the metal. When I bought it wasnt yet released in the UK but accoridng to the Oakley supplies I spoke to the RRP price was listed as between £990 to £1200. I paid £430ish including shipping and then £27 import duty on top of that. Although if you have small wrists I recommend trying it on first, it really is quite big
I was looking at the Hole Shot the other day... very tempted but it appears in spec to be just a round cased Time Tank. But I do seem to keep coming back to Oakley, so who knows....
